SCIAC All-Academic Team ... Appeared in seven games in an abbreviated sophomore season ... Earned the win in relief against Babson, while also adding the go-ahead two-run double to put the Athenas in front in a comeback win in her only at-bat of the season.

Attends Scripps College ... Sister (Annie Aldrete) played softball at UC Berkeley (Class of 2017), while brother (Carter Aldrete) is on the baseball team at Arizona State (Class of 2020) ... Step-father (Richard Aldrete) played baseball at UC Berkeley and spent eight years in the minor leagues, reaching as high as AAA (hitting .302 for the Phoenix Firebirds in 1991), while his brother Mike Aldrete spent 11 years in the major leagues and won a World Series title with the Yankees in his final season in 1996.

Involvement on Campus: I work in the mailroom at Scripps where I check in packages and distribute them to students that come to pick them up.

Why I Chose CMS Softball: I chose CMS softball because I've always wanted to play softball at the college level while being able to receive the best education possible. CMS was the perfect fit because the consortium gives many opportunities to find what interests me while also allowing me to take classes that challenge me to become a better student and person as a whole. This combined with the high competition that CMS softball embodies made CMS my number one choice.
