CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's cross country team took second place at the SCIAC Championships on Saturday at the Pomona-Pitzer cross country course, with three of its runners taking home all-league honors.

Oliver Pick was the top individual finisher for the Stags in fourth place in 25:01.8, earning first-team All-SCIAC accolades. Adam Sage was a second-team All-SCIAC winner with a 14th place finish in 25:26.5, while Daniel Krasemann came in 19th in 25:53.6.

CMS almost had two more All-SCIAC honorees, but Henry Pick came in 21st and Miles Christensen was 22nd, just outside of the top-20 cutoff. Daniel Fajardo and Charles Albach were also in the top 30 in 26th and 28th, respectively.

Pomona-Pitzer captured the individual title after a 1-2-3 finish led it to 21 points. La Verne was third behind with CMS with 98 points, edging Redlands (101).

The Stags will be back in action in two weeks for the NCAA West Regionals, which will be held in Spokane, Washington, and hosted by Whitworth University.
