Bio

I’m Adam, a Harvey Mudd Stag alumni. Coming out of high school, I knew I wanted to continue running competitively. CMS provided the opportunity for me to do just that. I was able to make the XC nationals team as the alternate in both 2016 and 2017 (and got to run the national meet in 2017). As CMS is a Division III program, running did not come at the expense of academics. In addition to exploring the wide range of courses offered at the Claremont Colleges, I was able to spend a summer abroad in Japan and two summers in Claremont doing research with the HMC Computer Science department. Finally (and most importantly), the CMS XC program is very much a family. Every Stagthena is regarded as an important part of the team, and teammates are always there to support each other as athletes, students, and friends. This team is a really special group of people, and I’m incredibly grateful to have been a part of it.

This fall, I’ll be moving to Boston to begin work as a software engineer at Wayfair. Although I’ll be on the other side of the country, I’ll still be cheering for my fellow Stagthenas.
