Bio

Coming out of high school, I remember looking at the CMS cross country website deciding whether or not I should run cross country. Going into my first season, I knew I'd be one of the slowest men on the team, if not the slowest. Because of this, I was afraid of being given little to no attention by the coaches. However, I shouldn't have worried: the coaching staff wasn't concerned with how fast I was, they were more concerned with how I improved and developed as a runner! While never making it in the top half of our team, I worked hard and bettered my times from the year before during each of my four cross-country seasons. As I did so, I made well over a hundred life-long friends and countless memories. Though often difficult and trying in many ways, running for CMS was the best decision I made in college.

Since I've graduated, I am now putting my Harvey Mudd physics education to use by working as a scientist at Areté Associates for at least the next few years. I continue to live in the Los Angeles area, where I still regularly run, hang out, and travel with other CMS & Mudd alumni whom I've stayed in touch with. I plan on watching the current Stags and Athenas continue to dominate the SCIAC for years to come.
