Bio

Bob Ramsey enters his fifth year at CMS for the 2019-20 season, coaching the short sprints, relays, and horizontal jumps.

Prior to CMS, Bob coached track & cross country for six years at Glendora (CA) HS. He helped multiple athletes advance to the California State Meet and CIF-Southern Section Masters & Championship meets in sprints, jumps & distance and his boys XC team were CIF-SS champions.  

His athletes went on to compete at Cal, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, Northern Arizona, Davidson, Tulane, Yale, Cal Poly SLO, Cal Poly Pomona, CSU Fullerton, CSU San Francisco, Loyola Marymount, Adams State, the University of Chicago and Occidental. He has also served as the meet director for the San Gabriel Valley Track and Field Championships for the past eight years

He holds a USA Track & Field Level 1 Coaching Certification, graduated from Azusa Pacific University and Fuller Theological Seminary, and did doctoral study at Claremont Graduate University.

Bob lives with his wife Wendy in Glendora. The couple has two adult children.
