CLAREMONT, Calif. - A total of 12 members of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's track and field team captured All-West Region honors during indoor season from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, the organization announced today.

Christian Campbell, who will be attending the NCAA Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Alabama this weekend, earned All-Region in three events, the 60 meters, the 200 meters, and the 4x400 relay. Joining him on the 4x400 relay all-region team were were Ellis DelVecchio, Quincey Williams, and Nick Teresi

Henry Pick (mile), Miles Christensen (3000 meters), and Kai Dettman (800 meters) both earned it for individual events, as well as for the distance medley relay, along with Colin Scanlon, who ran the 400-meter leg.

CMS also had an All-West Region selection in both indoor throws, as Jason Bowman captured it in the weight throw, and Sarath Kakani was an honoree in the shot put. Joshua Martinez was also an All-West selection in the 60-meter hurdles.

The Stags managed to total 11 honorees despite only competing in one indoor event, with some of the team members heading to the Whitworth Invitational and the distance runners competing at Boston University's Valentine Invitational.

While Campbell will head to the NCAA Championships, other members of the Stags will head to Occidental this weekend for its annual Distance and Sprint Carnival.
