Bio

Warren Wood returned to Stags Tennis as an Assistant Coach in 2019, four years after having completed the greatest playing career in CMS Tennis history.

In 2015, Wood led CMS to its first NCAA title in any sport in 34 years, and also became only the third collegiate player ever to complete the Triple Crown, by winning the NCAA team title, singles and doubles titles.  Wood is one of two Stags to win over 100 singles and 100 doubles matches in his career. He was an ITA All-American each of his four years and won the ITA National Rookie of the Year and National Senior of the Year awards. He was also a two-time Ojai singles winner and SCIAC Athlete of the Year. As a senior, he was CMC's Male Athlete of the Year. He was Team MVP each of his four years as a Stag.

Wood also serves as a Director and lead professional of the Tennis Mechanix Academy in Burbank, CA.
