Bio

Lestter Yeh is in his fifth season at CMS as an Assistant Coach, one of three Stags Tennis alums on CMS' coaching staff. Yeh's primary responsibilities include one-on-one training with student-athletes during practice time, as well as coaching singles and doubles during dual matches.

A 2016 graduate of Claremont McKenna College, Yeh majored in Psychology and earned ITA Scholar-Athlete and SCIAC All-Academic accolades his senior year. On court, Yeh had career records of 47-13 in singles and 35-23 in doubles in his four years as a Stag. His singles career winning percentage of .783 places him 8th best in Stags Tennis history. As a senior, Yeh reached the semifinals of the ITA West Regional in singles, had an overall record of 24-6, and earned 2nd Team All-SCIAC honors, while leading his team to a No. 6 year-end national ranking. Yeh was also a member of three teams that advanced to the NCAA Championship match between 2013-2015, including the Stags' NCAA title winning team in 2015.

Following graduation from CMC, Yeh began coaching juniors in his hometown of Temple City and then joined the coaching staff of CMS Athenas Tennis for the 2017 season. With Yeh on staff, the Athenas turned in their finest season in program history by advancing to the semifinals of the NCAA tournament, earning a No. 3 year-end national ranking, and finishing with records of 10-0 in conference and 29-1 overall.

In 2018, Yeh joined the coching staff of the Caltech men's and women's tennis programs, where he had primary responsibility for the men's program. Under Yeh's leadership, the men's program achieved a number of firsts: the first top-40 ITA national team ranking, the first time a doubles team had advanced to the Ojai tournament final, and the first set of ITA All-Americans in doubles.
