Rojanasoonthon, Reddy Compete for CMS at Skidmore Invitational

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Tarm Rojanasoonthon and Anirudh Reddy represented CMS men's tennis at the Skidmore Invitational, which was held this weekend.

Rojanasoonthon won his first match in his 16-player bracket against Shrish Chaudh of MIT on Saturday, capturing a quick 6-0, 6-1 decision. However, he dropped his second to Ethan Green of Denison 7-5, 6-1 and then closed out his tournament with a loss to Andre Djokic of Tufts. Reddy fell in his opening match to JT Bilski of Wesleyan, 6-3, 6-2 on Saturday and then dropped a match to Alex Ganchev of Tufts in the consolation draw. 

In doubles, the duo fell in their first match to Wesleyan 8-5, and then won a dramatic tiebreaker (8-6) against Tufts in the backdraw. The Stag pair then had a dominant 8-0 win over Skidmore in the consolation semifinals, before being tripped up by Middlebury in the finals. 

CMS will be in action this week as Advik Mareedu will try to win his second straight national singles title at the ITA Cup in Rome, Georgia, starting on Wednesday.
