On Court: 5-star recruit on TR.net who ranked as high as #56 in his class in 2015, and #72 in his class in 2014...played #1 singles for his Lakeside Lions high school team as a freshman and sophomore, going undefeated in league play both seasons and finshing fourth as a freshman and second as a sophomore in the state high school championships...as a freshman was one of six Stags to reach the quarters or better in the ITA West Regionals singles event, where he lost to teammate Daniel Morkovine...had wins over 9th seeded Andrew You (Whittier), Derek Levchenko (UCSC) and Jake Ly (Redlands) en route to the quarters...earned an ITA West Region Fall Ranking of #18...partnered fellow frosh Jake Berber to win one of three doubles matches in their debut...was one of two everyday singles starters among Stags freshmen, playing No. 4 and No. 5 singles all season...also one of the Stags' most consistent and clutch performers, having won all four of his three-setters and been the clinching win in four duals...won nine of his first twelve singles matches, including two dramatic three-set wins to clinch comebacks against Wash U and Bowdoin at the Stag-Hen Invitational...also won in three sets in the NCAA team semis against Middlebury, capping an improbable comeback...found himself in and out of the doubles lineup throughout the spring, partnering Morkovine, Berber, Hull, and Parodi...completed his freshman campaign with overall records of 22-6 in singles and 6-11 in doubles, earning 2nd Team All-SCIAC honors...as a sophomore went 3-1 in singles and 2-1 in doubles (with Robert Liu), reaching the quarterfinals of both at the ITA West Regionals..earned fall singles West Region rank of No.13...returned in the spring to make an immediate impact in the middle part of the singles lineup and at No. 3 doubles....won four of six matches at ITA National Indoors to help the Stags reach the final in their first appearance since 2009...his 15-3 singles dual match record at No. 4 and No. 5 singles included wins over Wash U, Wesleyan, Amherst, Tufts, and Middlebury...paired successfully with Yeam, Berber and Liu at No. 3 doubles for an 18-4 dual match record, completing an incredible turnaround from a year earlier...completed 2018 with overall records of 18-4 in singles and 20-5 in doubles...appointed co-captain with Julian Gordy for 2018-2019...as a junior spent fall semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark...returned to action as one of the hottest players in the Stags' starting lineup, winning his first nine singles matches without the loss of a set over a span of 30 days...earned SCIAC Athlete of the Week for the week of March 25, as the only Stag to win all of seven of his singles and doubles matches on CMS' spring trip to New England...slotted in at Nos. 4-5 singles and Nos. 2-3 doubles primarily with Burney, but also with Morris and Liu throughout the spring...a wrist and forearm injury sidelined him for all but two doubles pro-sets during the month of April...returned to the lineup healthy for post-season play in May but only completed one singles match due to the clinch format of post-season duals...completed 2019 with overall records of 11-2 in singles and 24-5 in doubles.
