On Court: 5-star recruit on TR.net who ranked as high as #56 in his class in 2015, and #72 in his class in 2014...played #1 singles for his Lakeside Lions high school team as a freshman and sophomore, going undefeated in league play both seasons and finshing fourth as a freshman and second as a sophomore in the state high school championships...as a freshman was one of six Stags to reach the quarters or better in the ITA West Regionals singles event, where he lost to teammate Daniel Morkovine...had wins over 9th seeded Andrew You (Whittier), Derek Levchenko (UCSC) and Jake Ly (Redlands) en route to the quarters...earned an ITA West Region Fall Ranking of #18...partnered fellow frosh Jake Berber to win one of three doubles matches in their debut...was one of two everyday singles starters among Stags freshmen, playing No. 4 and No. 5 singles all season...also one of the Stags' most consistent and clutch performers, having won all four of his three-setters and been the clinching win in four duals...won nine of his first twelve singles matches, including two dramatic three-set wins to clinch comebacks against Wash U and Bowdoin at the Stag-Hen Invitational...also won in three sets in the NCAA team semis against Middlebury, capping an improbable comeback...found himself in and out of the doubles lineup throughout the spring, partnering Morkovine, Berber, Hull, and Parodi...completed his freshman campaign with overall records of 22-6 in singles and 6-11 in doubles, earning 2nd Team All-SCIAC honors...this season went 3-1 in singles and 2-1 in doubles (with Robert Liu), reaching the quarterfinals of both at the ITA West Regionals..earned fall singles West Region rank of No.13
