Butts named ITA Senior Player of the Year
TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the 2016 Division III regional and national award winners on Wednesday, May 25, at the 2016 Division III NCAA Tennis Championships in Kalamazoo, Mich. Skyler Butts (CMC) was named the men's ITA Senior Player of the Year after having been the No. 1 ranked player in the West Region in singles and doubles all season. Additionally, he was named the West Region's Senior Player of the Year.
Currently in the NCAA Championships, Butts has advanced to the quarterfinals in the doubles draw with partner junior Daniel Morkovine (CMC) and the semifinals in the singles bracket.
