Wood SCIAC Athlete of the Year, three others All-Conference
PASADENA, Calif. – With four Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's tennis players named All-SCIAC, CMS had more all-conference selections than any other school in the conference in 2014. CMS won the conference championship for the 9th straight season and has now won 85 conference matches in a row dating back to 2005.
The SCIAC released its 2014 All-SCIAC Men's Tennis Teams on May 14 and junior Warren Wood has been awarded SCIAC Athlete of the Year honors. It is the first time a Stags tennis player has been named SCIAC Athlete of the Year since 2011 when Alex Lane won the award.
Joining Wood on the All-SCIAC teams are junior Nikolas Marino (first team), junior Joe Dorn (first team) and sophomore Skyler Butts (second team).
