Stags Fall to Cal Lutheran 4-3

In a classic college tennis battle, the Stags dropped a 4-3 decision to league rivals Cal Lutheran. The doubles point was decided after the Kingsmen fought off two match points for the Stags during an epic 11-9 tiebreaker victory at the #2 position. Rebounding in the singles, Ben Hough #6 and Kyle Ellison #5 quickly dispatched their opponents 6-2, 6-0 and 6-1, 6-3 respectively. David Oehm #3, with only a slight set back during the second set, closed out his match in a commanding third. With this loss the Stags move to 4-1 in conference and 11-11 overall. The Stags will battle on Friday, April 8th (2:00 PM) against Redlands.
