Kendall Hollimon Named SCIAC Men's Diver of the Week

CLAREMONT, Calif. - Returning All-American Kendall Hollimon earned his first SCIAC Diver of the Week Award of his senior season for events through Sunday, Oct. 27, the league office announced today.

Hollimon earned the honor after taking first place in the three-meter dive in a dual meet with UC San Diego (ranked No. 6 nationally in Division II), while also coming in a close second place in the one-meter dive. 

A year ago, Hollimon won the SCIAC Diver of the Week honor three times in the spring semester after studying abroad in the fall. He went on to sweep the one-meter and three-meter dives at the SCIAC Championships, making him a perfect 6-for-6 winning league titles, and captured All-America honors for the third straight year in the three-meter with a third-place finish. 

CMS will be back in action for its first SCIAC dual meet of the season on Nov. 9 at Caltech, before its home opener at Axelrood Pool on Nov. 16 against Chapman and Cal Lutheran.
