Kendall Hollimon Wins Second SCIAC Diver of the Week Honor

CLAREMONT, Calif. - Junior Kendall Hollimon was named the SCIAC Men's Diver of the Week for meets through Sunday, Jan. 20, the league announced today.

It marks the second time this season that Hollimon has earned SCIAC Diver of the Week honors, in just the three short weeks since he returned from studying abroad in the fall. He swept the one-meter and three-meter dive events in a road win over Redlands on Saturday, helping the Stags to their second straight sweep of SCIAC foes.

A 2018 All-American in both diving events, Hollimon scored a 291.50 in the three-meter, winning by almost 40 points over Jacob Miner of Redlands (252.55). He then completed the sweep by scoring a 322.06 in the one-meter, winning by over 50 points over Miner (271.35).

Earlier this season, Hollimon captured the SCIAC Diver of the Week honor after sweeping the one-meter and three-meter in a diving-only event with Westminster (Pa.). He and senior Jacque Desmond of the women's team have combined to win five SCIAC Diver of the Week honors this season.

CMS will be back in action in two weeks, when it hosts its final meet of the season at Axelrood Pool against Cal Lutheran and La Verne on Feb. 2, beginning at 10 a.m.
