Patrick Watkins will serve as an assistant coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's soccer program in 2023 while attending Claremont Graduate University. 

Watkins stays with the Stags as a graduate assistant while he completes his master’s degree in information systems and technology at CGU. He started all 12 games for CMS as a midfielder last year, after playing as an undergraduate for four years at Division I DePaul University, including an abbreviated 2020 season due to the pandemic.

While at DePaul, Watkins made 11 starts as a freshman in 2018 and appeared in 17 games his senior season in 2021. He earned Big East All-Academic Team honors every season as a chemistry major.
