Former CMS Men's Soccer Player Cole Mora '17 Joins COVID-19 Relief Effort
CLAREMONT, Calif. - Former men's soccer player Cole Mora (CMC '17) has joined a national effort to deliver respirator masks to hospitals, raising money to provide PPE to health workers in Southern California.
Mora and his CMC roommate, Tyler Finn ('17) have worked with a group of tech-related individuals to create a platform called SoCal Tech for SoCal Hospitals, in partnership with the Count on Me Family Foundation. The group has procured thousands of masks, with the first shipment going to Martin Luther King Hospital in South Los Angeles.
Mora played in 54 games as a defender in his CMS career, including starting all 35 games he played in over his junior and senior seasons. He was part of a SCIAC Championship team as a freshman in 2013, and helped the Stags to an 11-win season his senior campaign.
