CLAREMONT, Calif. - Connor Sinclair has been a regular member of the defensive line rotation for CMS football throughout his career, helping the Stags to a SCIAC title last year. Off the field, he has made the most of his liberal arts education at Claremont McKenna, holding down a dual major in economics and film studies.
CLAREMONT, Calif. - Senior Zack Rossman has had a significant impact on the men's water polo program, earning Division III All-America honors the last two years. The Claremont Consortium has in turn had a significant impact on Rossman's academic pursuits, as he has been able to attend Claremont McKenna and enroll in the Robert Day School of Economics and Finance, while simultaneously pursuing a computer science major at Harvey Mudd.
CLAREMONT, Calif. - Gabby Clouse, a starting midfielder on the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's soccer team, has seen South America become a focal point of her collegiate experience. While that would seem like a logical destination for a soccer player, Clouse's travels below the equator have not been to watch World Cups or partake in international soccer events, but rather to use her biology degree at Claremont McKenna to pursue her interests in international healthcare.
CLAREMONT, Calif. - As a defensive specialist on the CMS volleyball team, Lina Aluzri is accustomed to needing to react quickly in the middle of a fast-paced environment. Those same traits came in handy this summer when she served as an investment banking analyst for Piper Jaffray.
CLAREMONT, Calif. - Senior Julian Gordy is a two-time captain and a two-time All-American for the CMS men's tennis team, the current No. 1 ranked team in the nation. He has also carried a 3.8 GPA with a rigorous economics-accounting workload at Claremont McKenna, and after he ends his collegiate tennis career sometime this month, he will begin his corporate finance career with FTI Consulting, where he interned last summer.
CLAREMONT, Calif. - Senior Morgan Blevins will be competing in her final SCIAC event this weekend, as the CMS Track and Field teams prepare to host the 2019 conference championships on Saturday and Sunday at the Burns Track Complex. As a distance runner, she has put a lot of miles into her training over the years, but her mileage pales in comparison to the astronauts she worked with while interning at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston this summer.
