Kendall Hollimon - Men's Swimming and Diving

CLAREMONT, Calif. - All-American Kendall Hollimon competed at his home pool for the final time and capped off his career with two more SCIAC Diving Championships, making him a perfect 8-for-8 in his collegiate career.

Hollimon swept the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events at the SCIAC Championships, which was hosted by CMS at Axelrood Pool, the fourth straight season that he has won both boards. He was pushed in both events by Jem Stern and Benjamin Willett of Pomona-Pitzer, with the outcome still in doubt heading into the final two dives, but Hollimon came through with high marks on both days to get the separation he needed to win his seventh and eighth league crowns.

Hollimon also continued a recent trend of dominance for CMS in the league diving competitions, making it 11 years in a row that the Stags have won the 3-meter championship at SCIACs, and eight years in a row in the 1-meter.

With his eight league titles under his belt, Hollimon's work still isn't finished as he will next head to the NCAA Regionals at Trinity (Texas) on Feb. 28-29 as he tries to qualify for the NCAA Championships in March. Hollimon is a four-time All-American in his first three seasons, earning that distinction in the 3-meter all three seasons, and the 1-meter as a sophomore. Last year, he came in third place in the 3-meter, just five points out of first, and he hopes to make a run at a national title in his final collegiate season.
