Kendall Hollimon - Men's Swimming and Diving

CLAREMONT, Calif. - Junior Kendall Hollimon brought home the first two SCIAC Championships for the men's swimming and diving team at the diving portion of league championship week, held at Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday and Sunday.

Hollimon repeated as the league winner in both the one-meter and the three-meter events, giving him a perfect six SCIAC titles in his first three years, beginning with sweeping both titles as a freshman in 2017.

After studying abroad in the fall, Hollimon was able to return to form in time to win dual SCIAC championships for the second year in a row. He won by over 60 points in both events, earning a 601.90 in the three-meter, a 72-point margin of victory, and a 535.70 in the one-meter to win by 64.

The swimming portion of the 2019 SCIAC Swimming and Diving Championships get underway on Thursday in Commerce, Calif., as the Stags head in with a lead thanks to Hollimon's efforts this weekend. Hollimon will next be in action for the NCAA Division III Diving qualifiers at Grinnell in March, hoping to make it back to Indianapolis for nationals, where he finished fourth in the three-meter and seventh in the one-meter last year, earning All-America distinction in both.
