LOCATION: GPS users can enter "520 N. Mills Avenue, Claremont to find the entry gate to the track. The track facility is located west of Mills Avenue between First and Sixth Streets in the city of Claremont on Pomona College's campus. Park in campus lots (no fee). To get to Pomona College from Interstate 10, take Indian Hill exit north 1 mile to 6th street. Turn right and go east, past College Avenue and College Way. Turn right on Mills, and entrance gate is on your right. To get to Pomona College from Interstate 210, exit at Towne Ave, turn south and go 1/2 mile until Foothill stoplight. Turn left and go 1 mile until Indian Hill stoplight. Turn right, and go south to 6th street. Turn left and go east, past College Ave. and College Way. Turn right on Mills, and entrance gate is on your right.
Handicapped access is available by entering the track gate at 375 North Mills Avenue, Claremont.

PARKING: Vans and team buses should park on or near Mills Avenue or First Avenue. This is a residential area - please ask your bus driver not to idle the bus engine during the meet. A no-fee two-story college parking structure is located at 295 E. First Street with quick walking access to the track Map (look for South Campus Parking Structure). COACHES' MEETINGS: A brief coaches’ meeting will take place at 1:30 PM on Saturday and 1:30 PM on Sunday at the awards podium.
TEAM AREA: Teams may set up on any of the grass areas surrounding the track.
WARM-UP AREA: Warm-up areas include the cross country course dirt trails around the Greek Theater and organic farm. Do not enter the football field or the meet throwing areas.
AWARDS: All-SCIAC awards will be handed out to the top three in each event very soon after the completion of that final. Please be prepared to go to the awards area.
RULES: The 2024 SCIAC Track and Field Championship meet will be conducted under NCAA Division III Track & Field Rules.
LOCKERS: No locker or shower facilities are available.
MEDICAL STAFF: Trainers will be available from 9:30am through the duration of the meet at the tent near the shed on the west track edge.
SCORING: The meet will be scored 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 for all events. Eight athletes will advance to the finals in all individual track events 800m and under. Twelve will advance in the 1500m. Nine athletes will advance to the finals in all field events.
IMPORTANT: Failure to Participate Rule will be in place. If an athlete fails to participate in an event, he or she is barred from all remaining events in this year’s SCIAC Championships.
CHAMPIONSHIP CREDENTIALS: Tournament credentials are required for all tournament participants, officials, and staff. The credentials will be provided to teams upon arrival at the competition site on Day One. The credentials are to be worn at all times, except during competition. The credentials may not be given to family, friends, etc. to avoid admission charges.

RESTROOMS: Restrooms will be located in three areas: 1) above the track by the tennis courts, 2) portables behind the track shed on the backstretch, and 3) on the lower soccer field south of the Pole Vault runways
HOSPITALITY: For Meet Staff and Officials: Lunch will be provided for officials and tournament staff.
NATIONAL ANTHEM: We will stop all activities to announce and play the national anthem at 1:55PM on Saturday and 2:55PM on Sunday.
