Bio

In four seasons as a swimmer, she was a six-time SCIAC champion. As a sophomore in 1995, she won the SCIAC title in the 100-yard breaststroke, and in 1996 she won the 100 breaststroke and 100 freestyle. Then as a senior in 1997, she capped off her career with SCIAC titles in the 50-yard freestyle, 200 breaststroke and 100 breaststroke. For her efforts as a senior, she was named Claremont McKenna College Female Athlete of the Year and SCIAC Swimmer of the Year, and she was selected as an All-America. During her final season, she also set six school records and one SCIAC record at the time. In addition to swimming, she was a two-year member of the water polo team.
