Bio

A national champion and two-time All-America in the javelin, Leba was part of an SCIAC championship-winning track & field team in each of his four seasons at CMS. In 1997 (the year he won the national championship), he was named the SCIAC and West Region Athlete of the Year. He was a three-time SCIAC champion (javelin - 1996; 110 high hurdles and javelin - 1997). In 1997 at the California/Nevada Track Meet, which included athletes from each of the NCAA's divisions, he finished in third place in the javelin. In addition to being a track & field athlete, Leba spent the fall season in the pool as a contributor for the Stags water polo team, which won three SCIAC championships in his four seasons.
