Bio

As a member of a two-time SCIAC championship men's basketball team during his four years on the squad (1985-89), Dawe was a three-time All-SCIAC selection, team captain and Team MVP as a senior in 1988-89 and an All-Region selection as a junior. Both seasons that the Stags won the SCIAC championship, the team also advanced to NCAA postseason play. During his junior and senior years, he was named first-team All-Conference after earning second-team All-Conference as a sophomore. Dawe held the men's basketball team's all-time record for career games played (104) upon graduation. He is currently fourth in career rebounds (737), sixth in career points (1,389) and field goals made (535), seventh in free throws made (309), eighth in free-throw percentage (.794) and ninth in field-goal percentage (.547). As a sophomore in 1986-87, Dawe went a perfect 11 for 11 at the free-throw line, a CMS single-game free-throw percentage record.
