Bio

A three-year letterman for Stags basketball who captained CMS' first two SCIAC championship teams, Hagiwara also earned all-conference and all-district accolades in addition to setting three program records. He is the first HMC basketball player to be inducted into the CMS Hall of Fame. Individual accolades: NAIA All District III, Honorable Mention (1967-68), first-team All-SCIAC (1967–68). School records: Most free throws in a game (17), (highest free-throw percentage in a game (1.000), most games played in a season (30). He was team captain (1967-68). He lettered in basketball for three seasons.
