Bio

Recognized as one of Athena tennis' first dominant players at the regional and national level, Cella led her team to four consecutive team conference titles and was the first tennis player selected to participate in both the NCAA singles and doubles championships. Appropriately, she is the first Athena tennis player inducted into the CMS Hall of Fame. Individual accolades: NCAA All-America, Doubles (1997), first-team All-SCIAC (1996, 1997, 1998), second-team All-SCIAC (1995), team captain (1997, 1998), MVP (1998), NCAA Post Graduate Scholarship Award Winner (1998), ITA Scholar Athlete (1997, 1998), CMC Female Athlete of the Year (1998), ITA Player to Watch West Region (1996) and lettered in tennis all four years.
