Bio

A multi-talented sprinter-jumper, Odogwu was a 25-time All-SCIAC athlete in track & field, and scored 105.5 points at the SCIAC Championships during her Athena career. She placed four years in the 100 meters, 4x100 and 4x400 relays, and high jump. She placed three years in the 200 meters, long jump, and triple jump. In an extremely competitive conference, she won two individual SCIAC titles in 1989. She set a CMS record (38-3.5) winning the triple jump and a personal best (12.58) winning the 100. At the NCAA Championships, Odogwu earned All-America honors in the triple jump three straight years. She placed fifth in 1988 and fourth in 1989 and 1990. She was track team captain in 1989. Upon graduation, she held school records in the triple jump (38-3.5) and the 4x100 (50.4) and 4x400 (4:03.74) relays.
