Bio

Themm was an excellent player on a team that won the SCIAC championship in each of his four seasons on the team, and finished as the NCAA Division III finalist in 1983. His nickname was ''Auto'' because it was almost automatic that he would score when an opportunity for a goal came his way. He was known for his composure and continuing to play no matter how many fouls or how much physical abuse he was subjected to in the game. Individual awards: first-team All-SCIAC (1982, 1983, 1985), Co-Captain (1985), first-team Division III All-Far West (1983). Career statistics: goals (70), assists (37), total points (177), single-season goals (23 in 1983), single-season assists (13 in 1985). His marks for career goals, career assists and career points were CMS records at his time of graduation.
