Bio

Tracey was the first CMS woman All-American in any sport. She achieved the honor at the 1980 AIAW National Cross Country Championships. She lettered in both sports four times. In cross country, she was the first woman from any school to repeat as SCIAC champion. She finished first at the SCIAC Cross Country Championships in 1979 and 1980. She led CMS to its first two SCIAC titles in any sport as it won cross country titles in 1978 and 1980. She was also the captain of the cross country teams in 1978, 1979 and 1980. In track & field, she was a six-time SCIAC champion, winning the 800, 1,500 and 3,000 meters in two-consecutive years (1980, 1981). She was the track & field captain as a senior in 1981. Upon graduation, Tracey held school records in the 400, 800, 1,500 and 3,000.
