Men’s Soccer season recap

The Stags improved by five games in the win column compared with the 2015 season, and returned to the SCIAC Postseason Tournament after a two-year absence. Overall, CMS went 11-7-1 and 9-6-1 in conference play for a fourth-place finish. In the SCIAC Tournament semifinals at Redlands, CMS lost 2-0. CMS was 7-3 on Pritzlaff Field, including a 1-0 win over Pomona-Pitzer in the second game of the season. The Stags started 2016 by winning their first four games and had a 7-2 record after the first month of the season. Freshman forward Patrick Burke (CMC ’20) put together a strong season to be named the SCIAC Newcomer of the Year.
