Bio

Alisha Alexander joins the CMS Athletic Department in January 2018 after a year-long stint as a graduate assistant in the sports information office at Concordia University, Irvine. Before becoming as graduate assistant, Alexander interned in the CUI sports information office for two and a half years. While at Concordia, she wrote for various sports, assisted with social media, and game-day management.

Aside from her work at Concordia, Alexander interned for the PacWest Conference, a Division II conference based in Irvine, Calif. for a year and a half. She created conference record books and assisted in the selection of athletes of the week, wrote press releases, and created social media graphics.

In the summers of 2016 and 2017, Alexander was the Director of Baseball Operations for the SoCal Bombers Collegiate summer baseball team where she established the team’s social media accounts, kept stats and wrote recaps. She was promoted after the 2017 season and will serve as the Media Director for the Southern California Collegiate Baseball League (SCCBL) in 2018.

Alexander graduated from Concordia University, Irvine in December of 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management. She is currently enrolled in the Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration program at Concordia.
