Kelsey Creese is entering her first season as an assistant coach with the CMS cross country programs in 2022.

Creese joins the CMS program after a four-year career competing at the NCAA Division I level with Utah Valley, where she finished third in the 1500 in her final event, the WAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in 2021. She had PRs of 2:16.99 in the 800 and 4:31.97 in the 1500 during her senior campaign, and helped her team to a team title at the UNLV Invitational in 2017, prior to a redshirt season and another canceled due to the pandemic.

Prior to competing in college, Creese was a standout at local Bonita High School in La Verne, where she was the team's MVP award in 2015, and the Coaches Award in 2013 and 2014. She won the Palomares League title in the 1600 meters in 2015, and helped Bonita to a state championship during her career.

Creese returned to serve as the head cross country coach at Bonita last season, while also working as a fitness instructor at L.A. Fitness.
