Bio

I graduated from Scripps in May of 2019 and I was a part of CMS cross country for 3 years. This program is really special and unlike any other. It is built around hard work, family, and a love for running. Everyone on this team becomes your best friend. Everyone on this team is caring, kind, crazy, weird, and so very unique but we all come together and make one big family that just makes so much sense. You experience everything together, the 6 am practices, the tough workouts, the grind of being a college student, the successes and difficulties that running and life brings you. These are people you cannot live without and that will always be there for you. I am so grateful I got to be a part of this team, I will miss this team very much but I cannot wait to come back to visit!

Since graduation, I am now working at the University of Washington Arboretum as a naturalist. Essentially, I teach pre-K and 1st through 6th graders about the environment! In the fall, I will be attending Seattle University to get my masters in teaching specializing in secondary education and biology. If all goes as I planned, I have the intention of being a high school biology teacher.
