Hi, I'm Natasha. I was born in Brooklyn, New York but moved to Montana in 2013. I joined the cross country team in high school as a way to meet people and get to know my new home, and ended up loving the sport! After participating in Mudd's WISTEM program, I immediately set my sights on coming to Claremont. I am a mathematics major, with a focus on pure mathematics, and am concentrating in German. This summer, I am conducting graph theory research at an REU hosted by the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute in Berkeley, California. I hope to become a professor some day, and I want to bring math and science education to communities where it is severely lacking. In my spare time, I play clarinet in the Pomona College Band, work in the HMC admissions office, and am a math grader. At home, I love to hang out with my dog and family. I can't wait to continue improving in cross country and for this great year ahead of me!
