Bio

Katy comes from a small town in Eastern Washington where she had to walk to school in the snow, and it actually was uphill both ways. This prepared her well for a life of cross country, resulting in achievements like her four second mile PR and sixty-seven second 5k PR…which were set in the same race.

In the intervals of life between workouts, Katy is an engineering major at Harvey Mudd, where she has yet to inadvertently set anything on fire. To keep life interesting, she is attempting to motorize a watermelon, is pondering starting a rubber chicken relay, and occasionally writes decent poetry.
