Athenas Combine For Sixth Highest Team GPA

The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's water polo team combined to have a 3.49 grade-point average for the sixth-highest team GPA in women's collegiate water polo during the 2018 season. CMS had the top team GPA in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC).

In addition, 10 Athenas qualified for the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic Team.

In competition during the 2018 season, the Athenas finished 18-10 overall, 11-3 in SCIAC play. The 18 wins were the most by the Athenas since 2004 when they won 20 matches.
