Hu, Gaffney and Koper earn All-SCIAC honors

PASADENA, Calif. – As announced by the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) office on May 4, senior goalie Allison Hu earned First Team honors while freshman Jessica Gaffney and senior Rose Koper were named to the Second Team.

Hu was in the cage for the vast majority of the season for the Athenas. In SCIAC games, she recorded 86 saves on 158 attempts for a save average of 54%. Her relentless attention to detail and captaining of the defense helped CMS to a third place finish in SCIAC with an 8-3 record.

In SCIAC play, Gaffney led CMS with 21 goals, shooting with 40% efficiency during the season. She additionally led the team in assists (22), drawn ejections (16), and steals (22) during the 11 conference games.

In her senior season, Koper averaged a goal per game at 11 on the season and added nine assists. Her tireless and aggressive play kicked off the Athena offense on each possession.

Additionally, Senior Sarah Gonzalez was named to the All-Conference Sportsmanship Team.
