CLAREMONT, Calif. – Senior Claremont-Mudd-Scripps volleyball player Phoebe Madsen earned a nomination for the 2020 NCAA Woman of the Year Award, which honors the academic achievements, athletics excellence, community service and leadership of outstanding female college athletes, the organization announced today.

CHICAGO, Ill. - Senior Amanda Walker had 21 kills and senior Phoebe Madsen had her eighth triple-double of the season with 11 kills, 26 assists and 19 digs as the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps volleyball team began its 2019 NCAA Division III Tournament with a 3-1 win over Washington (Mo.) University on Friday afternoon at the University of Chicago.

CLAREMONT, Calif. - Senior setter/right side hitter Phoebe Madsen was named the SCIAC Volleyball Athlete of the Year for the second year in a row, while senior Amanda Walker, junior Melanie Moore and senior Sarah Tritschler each earned All-SCIAC honors, the league office announced today.
