Hoke earns second CoSIDA Academic All-District™ First Team honors

CLAREMONT, Calif. – Senior setter Tanner Hoke (CMC) earned her second consecutive honors for being voted to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District First Team, as released on Nov. 5. This award recognizes the nation's top student-athletics for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

During her college career so far, Hoke has held the highest GPA on the Athena volleyball team each semester. She currently boasts a 3.93 GPA and is a biology major. On the court, Hoke owns 563 assists on the season, averaging 5.52 per set. She also has 1.93 digs per set and is second on the team with 33 services aces.

The Athenas are currently ranked No. 9 by the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll and next matches up with Cal Lutheran in the SCIAC Postseason Tournament Final on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m.
