CLAREMONT, Calif. - A total of 11 members of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Women's Tennis team earned Scholar-Athlete honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, while the Athenas also collectively added an All-Academic Team award.

ITA Academic Team honors are presented to teams who earn a minimum of a combined 3.2 grade point average during the academic year, while Scholar-Athlete distinction is given to student-athletes who earn at least a 3.5 GPA.

The 11 Athenas who earned Scholar-Athlete honors included graduate student Catherine Allen, seniors Rebecca Berger and Caroline Cox, juniors Sarah Bahsoun, Crystal Juan, Sydney Lee, Georgia Tuckerman and Devon Wolfe, sophomore Justine Leong, and first-years Sena Selby and Audrey Yoon

CMS did not compete during the 2020-21 academic year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When last in action, the Athenas were ranked No. 1 in the nation when the 2019-20 season was halted with a 14-0 overall dual match record and an ITA Indoor Nationals title after a 5-4 win over Emory in the championship match.
