CMS doubles team comes away with third ITA All-America selection

TEMPE, Ariz.  – For the third time as a doubles team, Caroline Ward (CMC) and Katie Kuosman (CMC) of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's team have made the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-America team. Ward also was selected as an All-American for her play in singles.

Ward is now a four-time All-American in doubles and a three-time All-American in singles.

In 2016, the two Athenas led CMS to a 21-5 record, a SCIAC championship and a quarterfinal appearance in the NCAA Division III Team Championships. As a team, Ward and Kuosman finished as the national runner-up in doubles at the NCAA Championships.
