Athenas end year at No. 4; Kuosman and Ward ITA All-Americans

Skillman, N.J. – With a fourth place finish at the NCAA Championships in May, the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's tennis team ends the season ranked at No. 4 in the final Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III National Team Rankings, which were recently released. In addition to the final rankings which were released, the Athenas landed two athletes on the 2015 All-America Team.

Sophomore Katie Kuosman (CMC) and junior Caroline Ward (CMC) both made the All-America Team for their play in singles and doubles. Most recently as a doubles team, Ward and Kuosman finished 2015 as the NCAA Division III national runner-up at the Division III Championships in May. Both Athenas also participated in the NCAA D-III Singles Championships.

As a team the Athenas went 25-3 in 2015 and won a conference and regional championship.
