Presti qualifies for NCAAs in 1-meter diving

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Sophomore diver Maia Presti (SCR) of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps swim & dive team has earned a trip to the NCAA Championships in the 1-meter dive after her performance over the weekend at the NCAA Division III Regionals.

Presti finished in third place out of 18 divers in the 1-meter dive with a score of 402.00. The NCAA Championships run from March 18-21 in Shenandoah, Texas.

Sophomores Mary Lynn Clark (SCR) and Carli Lessard (HMC) also competed in 1-meter diving at Regionals and finished in 11th and 14th, respectively, with scores of 324.95 and 315.30.

In the 3-meter event on Friday, Lessard finished in 11th out of 15 divers with a score of 328.45. Mary Lynn Clark finished in 13th with a score of 314.75.
