Bio

Tyler Kahn begins his sixth year at CMS in 2016-17 after graduating from California State University, San Bernardino in 2011 with dual degrees in Marketing and Sports and Entertainment Marketing.

After being a two time All-State player in Tennessee, Kahn was recruited as a goalkeeper to play soccer at Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina.  After his freshman season, Kahn transferred to California State University, San Bernardino, where after a redshirt year, he played his remaining three seasons as a goalkeeper.

Kahn's true passion is coaching as he started his coaching career in 2008 as the head coach at Western Christian Middle School.  While still playing in college, he also helped out at various clubs as an assistant coach and goalkeeper trainer.  Although he currently works at Sedgwick handling worker compensation claims, in his spare time he is heavily involved in soccer; including coaching the U-19 and U-14 Foothill Storm boys’ soccer teams and serves as the goalkeeper coach for the United States Soccer National Training Center (Inland Empire).

Kahn currently holds a "D" National Coaching License and is a passionate Bayern Munich fan.
