Shields earns second All-West Region award from NSCAA
KANSAS CITY, Calif. – Darrah Shields (CMC) capped off her senior season with her second All-West Region award from the National Soccer coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Shields was named to the Third Team for the second consecutive year.
Shields led CMS and ended up seventh in on the SCIAC leaderboards in points at 20 on the season. She scored seven goals and six assists over the season. Three of her goals were game-winners including two 1-0 games against Sixth Street rivals, Pomona-Pitzer.
The Athenas placed second in conference with an 8-4-1 record, 10-7-4 overall.
