Bio
Rachael Martinez begins her second season as an assistant coach for CMS Lacrosse for the 17-18 academic year.
A native of San Ramon, Calif., Martinez began her coaching career as the head girls lacrosse coach at California High School in San Ramon. Over her four years with the program, the team improved drastically, finishing with a 20-1 record in 2016. Martinez also currently coaches for the Bay Area Tenacity club lacrosse team.
Martinez was a four-year letter winner at UC Davis, serving as team captain in 2011. As a sophomore and junior she garnered MPSF All-Academic Honors and was named to the MPSF All-Academic Squad. She graduated with a BS in Exercise Biology. Immediately after graduating, she spent three years as a Neuro-Exericse Therapist, working with people with spinal cord injuries and neurological disorders, and then decided to pursue her passion of sports into the coaching field.
