Sarah Dick Earns National Recognition

Senior captain Sarah Dick added another accolade to her resume this week having been selected as an honorable mention in the weekly lacrosse honors published by Synapse Sports. Each week, Synapse Sports combs the lacrosse box scores and stories to find stand out athletes that have made major contribution to their team's success.

This is not Dick's first recognition on the national scale. She has been selected First Team All-Region in 2009 and 2010 and was also selected as a Third Team and Second Team All-American in both respective years. In 2010, Dick was also chosen as the SCIAC Player of the Year. So far this season in two games, Dick has posted nine goals, one assist and four ground balls.

Dick will look to lead the Athenas when they are back in action this Wednesday at home against St John Fisher College at 7:00pm.
