Nick Ostreim (FR, Phoenix, AZ) finished 12th in the 200 backstroke at the NCAA Division III Championships last weekend. His five points put the Stags 50th in the team standings.

The men's swimming and diving team won the 2008 SCIAC Championship on Saturday in dominating fashion. They scored 1012 points, 252.5 points better than second.

CMS has a big lead after the first day of the SCIAC Swimming & Diving Championships. CMS has 324 points, 103.5 points more than second place.

CMS Dominates Rivalry Meet
The CMS men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams scored a pair of emphatic victories over Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday, January 26. Under sunny skies and with the snow-capped Mount Baldy in the background at CMS’s Axelrood Pool, the Athenas won 171 to 68 and the Stags topped P-P 154.5 to 88.5.
