Stags lose to Illinois Wesleyan 70-61

The Stags played tough through 30 minutes of the game Friday night but fell to Illinois Wesleyan 70-61 to go 5-4 on the season. Senior Dan Winterbottom led the Stags in Scoring with 15 points and 9 rebounds in 34 minutes. Senior Craig Borengasser also contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The game was back and forth the entire game with the stags going into halftime leading 33-32. The second half found the Stags shooting 4-18  (22.2%) from behind the arc.The Stags took a large number of open shots from behind the arc, but could not finish. The Stags will take on Point Loma Tuesday night in San Diego for a 7:30  pm start.
